Overdose is a common concern. The CDC recently reported that drug overdose deaths in the United States has steadily increased over the past ten years. A little over 75% of the deaths involved prescription opioid narcotics such as Oxy-Contin, Vicodin, Lortabs, etc. Unit packaging isn't a popular solution.
